At Healing Souls Wellness Center, we want you to feel comfortable, informed, and at ease before your appointment. General Questions
Do you accept walk-ins?
No, we do not accept walk-ins. All appointments must be scheduled in advance to ensure proper care and availability.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, cash, HSA and FSA cards, Homelink insurance, and we also work with the VA and Veterans so their massage services may be covered.
Where are you located?
Healing Souls Wellness Center is located in Portage Lakes, proudly serving Akron, Green, and Canton, Ohio.
What is your cancellation policy?
We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or missed appointments may result in a fee.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes, gift cards are available online and in our wellness center for any service or package.
Before & During Your Appointment
What should I expect during my appointment?
Every session is tailored to your needs. Your therapist will review your goals, explain the process, and ensure your comfort throughout.
How should I dress for my appointment?
Dress comfortably and casually. We are not a high-end spa — you don’t need to dress up. You’re coming to decompress, relax, and let go of stress.
How early should I arrive?
Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to check in, complete any necessary forms, and relax before your session begins.
Massage Therapy
Is prenatal massage safe?
Yes, our therapists are trained to provide safe, comfortable prenatal massage. We also use a pregnancy bolster that allows expecting mothers to lie face down safely and comfortably.
Are your massage tables accessible?
Yes, our massage tables are hydraulic, which means they can be raised or lowered easily. This makes it simple and safe for every client to get on and off the table without strain.
What is a Biomat and do you use one?
Yes, every massage table at Healing Souls includes a Biomat. A Biomat combines far infrared heat, negative ions, and amethyst crystals to deeply relax muscles, improve circulation, and promote healing during your session.
What’s the difference between sports massage and deep tissue?
Sports massage focuses on recovery and flexibility for active clients, while deep tissue works deeper to release chronic knots and tension.
Do you offer CBD massage?
Yes, CBD-infused massage supports muscle recovery, reduces soreness, and helps calm inflammation.
Do you offer cupping or stretching services?
Yes, we provide bamboo cupping and therapist-assisted stretching as add-ons or standalone services.
Skin Care
Can facials help with acne?
Yes, we offer facials for both teen and adult acne that target clogged pores, excess oil, and inflammation.
Is dermaplaning safe for sensitive skin?
Dermaplaning is safe when performed by a trained esthetician. It gently removes dead skin and peach fuzz, leaving skin smooth and refreshed.
Do you offer waxing services?
Yes, we provide waxing for brows, face, arms, legs, and body for smooth, lasting results.
Can facials help with eczema or rosacea?
Yes, our facials are customized to calm irritation, reduce redness, and strengthen overall skin health for those with eczema or rosacea.
Nail Care
What is the Phoenix Pedicure?
It’s our signature pedicure combining hot stones, paraffin dip, exfoliation, and premium polish for full rejuvenation.
Do you use natural nail polish?
Yes, we offer Kapi Nui non-toxic polish, as well as long-lasting D&D Gel polish with vibrant colors.
How long does gel polish last?
D&D Gel polish typically lasts 2–3 weeks without chipping.
